Territorial governance partner for circular economy, waste management and mountain sustainability

The Consiglio di Bacino Dolomiti is the public authority responsible for the governance and regulation of the integrated waste management system in the Province of Belluno, Italy. It coordinates municipalities and stakeholders on waste management, circular economy and environmental sustainability in a mountain territory facing geographic complexity, tourism pressure and sensitive natural areas.

The organisation is interested in joining European consortia as a territorial governance partner, especially in projects addressing circular economy, waste prevention, reuse and recycling chains, construction and demolition waste, sustainable management of natural and mountain areas, river/environmental protection and community awareness.

The Province of Belluno can offer a relevant pilot and replication context, bringing together public authorities, waste operators, local communities and territorial stakeholders to test governance models, awareness actions and circular economy strategies in complex territories.
