HORIZON-MISS-2026-06-CLIMA-SOIL : Soil Next: Validating Biological Resilience for Climate-Adaptive Agriculture

Cofounder & CEO at Soil Next BV

Amsterdam, Netherlands

About

In the face of extreme weather events, food security depends on the functional resilience of soil microbial ecosystems of our soils. Our SoilEyeAI platform delivers rapid (48h) assessments of soil food web (maturity, diversity and abundance) identifying the biological indicators that correlate with enhanced water retention, nutrient cycling stability, and crop stress tolerance.

By joining your consortium we can provide:

  • Real-Time Resilience Tracking: We move beyond annual soil organic carbon (SOC) metrics by providing high-frequency monitoring of the biological trophic networks that drive soil structure and resilience.

  • Rapid Iteration of Adaptation Solutions: Our system assesses and shares interpreted results in <48h to allow consortia to instantly evaluate the impact of nature-based solutions or regenerative amendments after weather shocks or interventions.

  • Closed-Loop Restoration: Our integrated marketplace allows for the immediate deployment of verified regenerative remedies (mulch, bio-complete compost etc.), following our tailored action plans, ensuring "Diagnosis-to-Action" is immediate - a critical requirement for maintaining food security under climate pressure.

Topic

  • HORIZON-MISS-2026-08-CLIMA-SOIL: Joint demonstration of solutions to build soil resilience to extreme weather events and support food security
