Chief Scientific Officer at T3LAB

Bologna, Italy

About

T3LAB is an Italian technology transfer and applied R&D partner specialized in Industrial Computer Vision and AI-driven digital solutions, with strong expertise in machine learning, edge/embedded systems, and software engineering. Our team includes around 10 engineers and researchers with a proven ability to rapidly turn research concepts into working prototypes and demonstrators, supporting technology validation and real-world adoption.

We support Horizon Europe consortia by providing:

- Industrial computer vision (visual inspection, defect detection, quality control, safety monitoring, video analytics)

AI/ML development (end-to-end pipelines, dataset preparation, training and fine-tuning)

- Agentic AI / LLM-based systems (RAG, multi-agent workflows, automation from documents and regulations)

- Edge AI & embedded implementation (efficient inference, integration with cameras/sensors, real-time deployment)

- Software architecture & integration (APIs, scalable cloud-edge platforms, MLOps)

- Demonstrators and proof-of-concept development (TRL progression, system integration and validation)

T3LAB is particularly interested in joining consortia addressing Apply AI, trustworthy & compliant AI, AI for industry, smart manufacturing, and digital infrastructures, where we can contribute as a technical partner and/or work package leader for system development, prototyping and integration.

We are currently looking for Horizon Europe consortia in formation (2026–2027 calls) and are open to supporting proposal preparation and project implementation with a pragmatic, engineering-driven approach.
