Immunology & Cancer Immunotherapy (InFLAMES)

Research Manager at InFLAMES Flagship

Turku, Finland

About

The InFLAMES Research Flagship is a joint effort of the University of Turku and Åbo Akademi University in Turku, Finland. InFLAMES seeks deeper understanding of normal and mistargeted inflammatory reactions in both health and disease. Aberrant immune responses are major pathogenic events in a wide range of diseases, from autoimmune diseases to cancer. We are an ambitious and dedicated top-level immunological R&D cluster, and part of the Research Council of Finland’s Flagship Programme.

InFLAMES is a broad ecosystem of over 400 researchers and a growing network of dozens of industrial partners across biotech and pharma. Our expertise spans key areas of immunology including immuno oncology, inflammation, autoimmunity, infection and host defence, immune profiling and biomarkers, and translational and clinical collaboration. We cover the full translation path from discovery to clinical impact, including clinical studies and trials up to phase 3. We actively support entrepreneurship and innovation creation, and we run frequent scientific and industry facing events that connect people, ideas, and technologies.

We welcome Horizon collaborations where immunology expertise, strong networks, and proposal experience strengthen excellence, implementation, and impact. We join or coordinate consortia, shape ideas, and build long term partnerships.
