About
Technical University in Zvolen, Slovakia offers multidisciplinary expertise for Horizon Europe Missions, especially Adaptation to Climate Change, A Soil Deal for Europe, Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities and Restore our Ocean and Waters. TUZVO connects forestry, ecology, environmental sciences, wood sciences and technology across the full forest–wood–product–environment chain.
We can contribute expertise in forest ecology, adaptive forest management, biodiversity and wildlife monitoring, landscape ecology, green infrastructure, ecosystem services, soil–water–plant interactions, forest soils, soil carbon, climate change impacts, natural hazards, GIS/remote sensing, precision forestry, freshwater ecology, environmental pollutants, wood-based bioeconomy, zero-carbon wood constructions, biomass and environmentally oriented technologies.
TUZVO is interested in joining consortia as a research and implementation partner, contributing to field monitoring, modelling, landscape and soil assessments, biodiversity studies, nature-based solutions, stakeholder engagement, demonstration activities and dissemination/training. We seek cooperation with universities, research institutes, municipalities, regions, national parks, forest and land managers, NGOs, SMEs and technology providers.
