My Friend Petru

My name is Francesco, known as Petru. I'm a fifth-generation farmer on a 30-hectare family masseria in Santeramo in Colle, in the Murgia area of Puglia.

I offer immersive farm experiences for travelers who want to go beyond tourism and truly live Puglia. Guests walk through our land, harvest seasonal produce, olives, almonds, vegetables, and grapes, learn to make pasta by hand with my mother Anna Maria, and sit down for a traditional lunch made with ingredients grown on our farm. We also include guided tastings of our extra virgin olive oil, wines made from our own grapes, and traditional cheeses from nearby masserie.

Each experience is small by design: maximum 10 guests per session. This is not a group excursion. It's a private, personal encounter with the land and the people who work it.
