The experience begins with an introduction to the history of Gubana, one of Friuli Venezia Giulia’s most iconic traditional desserts, and the story of the Dorbolò family, which has been producing it for generations.
Guests will then enjoy a live artisan demonstration of the Gubana shaping process, the most distinctive and important stage in the creation of this traditional cake. During the demonstration, our staff will explain the techniques, ingredients, and craftsmanship that make Gubana a unique expression of local heritage. Visitors will discover the oldest tunnel oven used for gubana production, an impressive 18--metre-long piece of baking heritage.
The visit concludes with a tasting of selected Dorbolò specialties, offering guests the opportunity to experience the authentic flavors of the territory.
After the tasting, visitors will have time to browse and shop in our boutique, where they can purchase our artisan products and local specialties.
Duration: approximately 40 to 90 minutes, depending on group size and the selected experience format.

Suitable for: groups of max 60 people (divided in 2 groups of 30), food lovers, cultural tourism, and experiential travel.
