Andrada Muntean

Andrada Muntean received the B.Sc. degree in Applied Electronics from Polytechnic University of Timișoara, Timișoara, Romania in 2015, the M.Sc. degree in Microelectronics from Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands, in 2017 and the Ph.D. from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland, in 2023. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at EPFL with Advanced Quantum Architecture Laboratory (AQUA). In 2016, during her Master’s study she was an intern at Advanced Detector Arrays, System, and Nanoscience Group with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, CA, USA. In 2018, as a result of her work during the Ph.D. She has received the First Place Student Paper Award at the IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium and Medical Imaging Sydney, Australia. Her research interests include time-of-flight photodetectors, mixed-signal and digital circuits design. From 2022 she dedicated her time towards business development and the creation of NovoViz.
