Investment Opportunity – DeepQ-MRI Quantitative MRI Platform

DeepQ-MRI is the proposed NewCo dedicated to the development, validation and commercialisation of quantitative MRI technologies originating from QMRI Tech S.r.l. Its first product is DeepQ-DCE, a proprietary quantitative ultrafast Dynamic Contrast-Enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI) technology initially focused on prostate imaging.

DeepQ-DCE combines ultrafast DCE acquisition, advanced pharmacokinetic modelling and physics-based deep learning to generate proprietary quantitative biomarkers, parametric maps and lesion- and patient-level outputs. The technology is designed to add an objective quantitative layer to prostate MRI and to complement existing multiparametric and biparametric MRI workflows.

A first pilot study in 24 patients with PI-RADS ≥3 lesions undergoing biopsy has been completed. The next development step is prospective multicentre validation, followed by product development, regulatory activities and clinical integration.

The project is currently at a pre-commercial stage, with DeepQ-DCE at approximately TRL 4–5 and a patent filing planned as part of the intellectual-property strategy.

DeepQ-MRI is seeking seed investors and strategic investors interested in medical imaging, digital health, artificial intelligence and oncology diagnostics. The current business plan envisages an indicative €1.0 million seed round to finance the next development phase, including software development, multicentre clinical validation, quality and regulatory activities, and preparation for market entry.

DeepQ-DCE represents the initial product opportunity, with the longer-term vision of extending the DeepQ-MRI platform to additional quantitative MRI applications and oncology indications.
