MetaTool: AI for Translational Evidence Integration — EIC Pathfinder Partners

FRESCI is developing the MetaTool concept to address a critical challenge: evidence, assumptions and uncertainty become disconnected as therapies move from discovery through preclinical development towards first-in-human studies.

Building on our peer-reviewed research in the Journal of Translational Medicine, MetaTool aims to connect existing assessment methods through a traceable, uncertainty-aware evidence framework.

The proposed research would investigate how AI can retrieve, structure and connect heterogeneous evidence while preserving its sources, limitations and decision context. The ambition is to support expert decisions on model selection and development progression.

We seek complementary partners to shape an EIC Pathfinder proposal, develop a proof of concept and evaluate it using relevant biomedical cases.
