Founded in 1950, Caffè Haiti Roma is a historic coffee roasting company based in Rome, Italy. For over seventy years, we have been producing high-quality coffee blends — in whole beans, ground, and in compostable pods and capsules — following the artisanal methods worthy of the finest master roasters. Thanks to decades of experience and passionate research, we have developed, refined, and perfected a unique production process. Each stage is meticulously overseen to ensure we meet our exceptional quality standards. The result is a true “delight in the cup,” a distinctive espresso experience appreciated both in Italy and around the world — a reflection of our mission since the very beginning. Building on our long-standing tradition of excellence in classic blends, in the early 2000s we were among the first roasters in Italy to introduce a certified line of 100% Organic & 100% Fairtrade espresso. This step reflected our strong commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing. Our organic and Fairtrade line, BioCaffè, quickly gained recognition, earning the prestigious Italian Espresso Quality Certification from the International Institute of Coffee Tasters, as well as two Gold Medals at the International Coffee Tasting competition. Caffè Haiti Roma is also proud to be one of the first coffee roasting companies in Italy to achieve triple DQS Integrated Certification, which includes ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) — a testament to our dedication to quality, sustainability, and workplace well-being.
