UTAP Ltd is a cutting-edge agri-tech company specialising in AI-powered livestock monitoring and management solutions. We harness computer vision, edge AI, RFID technology, and blockchain to provide non-invasive, accurate cattle weight estimation, health monitoring, and behaviour analysis. Our system uses advanced depth and thermal imaging to deliver real-time insights that improve animal welfare and farm productivity. Currently, we are running successful pilot projects with two of the largest cattle farms in the UK, validating our technology under real-world conditions. We are also developing drone-based livestock monitoring solutions to enable remote herd surveillance and welfare assessments over large grazing areas. Our cattle management software incorporates blockchain to create a secure, transparent, and immutable record of animal data, enhancing traceability throughout the supply chain. Complementing this, our carbon calculator includes anaerobic digester data and integrates via APIs with the Sustainable Business Initiative (SBI), tractor information systems, and the British Cattle Movement Service (BCMS) database. This helps farmers track and reduce their carbon footprint, aligning with net-zero farming goals and regulatory compliance. With deep expertise in AI model optimisation, embedded TinyML, digital twins, and real-time edge data processing, UTAP Ltd aims to revolutionise livestock farming with scalable, regulation-ready technology that empowers farmers, vets, and supply chain stakeholders.
