Ostara – Foundation for the Well-being of Rural Poland
Ostara is a non-profit foundation dedicated to sustainable rural development, regenerative agriculture, and the prosperity of farming communities in Poland. We act as a facilitator for agrifood and agritech projects and startups, connecting science, business, and local practice.
Our activities include:
Supporting agrifood innovation and new product development., Scaling agritech solutions such as digital tools, regenerative farming methods, and smart technologies., Empowering rural women’s groups and local producer cooperatives., Promoting mental health and resilience of farmers as part of holistic rural well-being., Building international partnerships in Horizon Europe, EIT Food, Erasmus+, Interreg and other EU-funded programmes.
We provide access to rural networks, pilot sites, and living labs where new solutions can be tested and scaled. By joining forces with entrepreneurs, researchers, and corporates, we aim to co-create impactful innovations and sustainable value chains across Europe.
We are looking for international partners, startups, and organisations to collaborate on agrifood and agritech projects, exchange knowledge, and bring transformative solutions to rural communities.
