WHO WE ARE

Veyra Medical is a new Italian company based in Rome, built around a single offer: the complete operating room, delivered turnkey. We serve private clinics, day-surgery centres and hospitals that need to equip a surgical suite and obtain its authorisation, and who want one reliable partner instead of ten different suppliers.

Veyra was founded by an entrepreneur who comes from the buyer side of private healthcare: years spent running a medical-aesthetic centre and investing in a medical centre in Rome. We know first-hand what clinics look for when they buy, how they decide, and why they are increasingly open to high-quality alternatives to the big international brands.

WHAT WE DELIVER

Our catalogue is organised in five areas, designed to cover everything an operating room needs:

1. OR equipment – surgical lights, operating tables, instrument trolleys, pendants and OR furniture.

2. OR devices – electrosurgical units, anaesthesia workstations, patient monitors, surgical suction.

3. Modular operating theatres – walls, ceilings, hermetic doors and integration, designed project by project.

4. Air handling – laminar and turbulent airflow systems, HEPA filtration, air handling units.

5. Surgical instruments – single-use sterile and reusable instruments.

Thanks to a partnership with a construction company that carries out the building works, Veyra can deliver not only the equipment but the room itself: the modular structure and the air handling system are installed on site as part of the same project. For the customer this means one contract, one timeline and one point of contact from design to commissioning.

HOW WE WORK WITH MANUFACTURERS

We have made a deliberate choice: a small portfolio. We want to work with a few manufacturers, ideally one per area or one covering several areas, so that each partner becomes central to our offer rather than one brand among dozens in a catalogue.

For a manufacturer, this means:

- Dedicated focus. Your products are not buried in a long price list: they are the core of what we sell.

- Sales through complete projects. Your equipment reaches the customer as part of a full operating room, which raises order value and builds long-term installed base.

- Regulatory competence in house. Our founder is a lawyer working on healthcare business and medical device regulation. We manage distributor obligations under MDR (EU) 2017/745, Italian registration requirements, contracts and tender documentation ourselves, which is a real advantage for manufacturers who are new to the European market.

- Experience with international suppliers. Before founding Veyra we carried out direct sourcing and supplier qualification projects with manufacturers in China and Pakistan. We know how to work with partners abroad on documentation, samples, quality checks and logistics.

- A long-term view. We are not looking for a one-off deal. We want to grow together with manufacturers who plan to become established players in Europe over the next five to ten years.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for manufacturers who:

- are entering the European market, or have no distributor in Italy yet;

- cover one or, ideally, several of our five areas;

- hold CE marking under MDR and, if based outside the EU, have an EU Authorised Representative;

- offer a competitive quality/price ratio;

- can support us with spare parts, technical documentation and training for installation and service;

- are open to working with a newly established distributor and to building the Italian market step by step.

We are particularly interested in companies from Turkey, China, Pakistan, Korea and Eastern Europe that combine solid manufacturing with the ambition to grow internationally.

WHY ITALY, WHY NOW

Italy is one of the largest healthcare markets in Europe, with a strong and growing private sector: clinics and day-surgery centres are expanding their surgical activity and upgrading their facilities. Many of them want modern, certified equipment without the price premium of the leading brands. This is exactly the space Veyra is built for.

TYPE OF COOPERATION

- Distribution agreement for Italy, exclusive or non-exclusive, to be defined together.

- Commercial agency for specific product lines or projects.

- Joint participation in tenders and turnkey projects.
