About
INB’s APOE Genotyping Analyzer, powered by its proprietary Genotyper platform, is designed to simplify APOE genotyping through a fully automated workflow that analyzes whole blood and buccal swab specimens without requiring a separate genomic DNA isolation step.
The system detects all six APOE genotypes (ε2/ε2, ε2/ε3, ε2/ε4, ε3/ε3, ε3/ε4, and ε4/ε4) and can process up to eight samples per run, delivering results in approximately two hours. By reducing manual handling and eliminating the DNA isolation step, the platform helps streamline sample processing and minimize pre-analytical variability.
In comparative testing, the system demonstrated 100% concordance with TaqMan-based APOE genotyping across the specimens evaluated. These results support its potential for reliable and efficient APOE genotyping in clinical laboratory and research settings.
As APOE genotyping plays an increasingly important role in Alzheimer’s disease research and genetic risk assessment, INB’s APOE Genotyping Analyzer offers a streamlined approach designed to make testing faster, simpler, and more accessible. Its automated workflow and compact sample-processing capacity also support the potential development of point-of-care and decentralized testing applications.
Key Product Highlights
