Feasibility studies

ION-GAS is a unique company for the development of tailor-made analytical devices for the customer’s needs. Our primary focus is based on ion mobility spectrometry, a powerful technique for the identification and quantification of volatile compounds in any gas phase. Such instruments (GC-IMS) measure very rapid and selective – in particular combined with rapid GC pre-separation – with the advantage of a non-invasive sampling.

ION-GAS offers feasibility studies, method development and at least complete analytical systems for the detection of relevant VOC (volatile organic compounds) pattern using non-invasive sampling and rapid, sensitive and selective GC-IMS analysis (seconds-minutes) with immediate display of the results, incl. alarms.

Our products are GC-IMS instruments for the detection of drug abuse, hidden persons, analysis of exhaled human breath and of gas phase samples in general. Furthermore, we offer system for automated unsupervised 24/7 sampling and analysis e.g. from the headspace of bacteria cultures to identify the germ after 4-6 h of cultivation.
