CoopCat - the Catalan Confederation of Cooperatives, represents worker, agricultural, consumer, housing and school cooperatives. In addition to our advocacy work we visualize the cooperative movement and democratic values, as well as promoting cooperatives and the Social Economy as an efficient and sustainable business model. Our projects also promote cooperative education and training, and cooperation among cooperatives. Catalonia is one of the European regions with the biggest cooperative movement, with almost 5000 cooperatives active across all economic sectors.   Our strategic areas are:  Digitalization and technology , Energy transition and energy community cooperatives , Industrial cooperatives , Social Economy , The care and social sector , Housing , The agri-food sector   We are eager to participate as active partners in European projects related to all these areas and other areas that allow us to contribute with our expertise. Our experience promoting the cooperative values and the social economy includes development of methodology, democratic governance, advocacy and dissemination activities, in addition to our thematic knowledge in our strategic economic sectors.
