About

CRADLE (Cradle4SDG) is a dynamic Greece-based organisation rooted in Drapetsona, Piraeus, committed to empowering disadvantaged communities and supporting sustainable development across Europe. It tackles socio-economic and environmental challenges by promoting inclusive education, digital innovation, entrepreneurship, and community empowerment.

The organisation’s mission is to provide non-formal education, practical skills training, and entrepreneurship opportunities to vulnerable groups, including women, youth, ethnic minorities, and others facing barriers to participation in the digital and green economy. Through interactive training, research, and European partnerships, CRADLE helps individuals overcome social exclusion and prepare for future labour markets.

Inspired by the cradle-to-cradle model and circular economy principles, CRADLE develops hands-on learning tools, AI-driven educational resources, and sustainability initiatives that bridge environmental awareness with community education.

CRADLE’s expertise spans teacher training, digital literacy, community development, and active involvement in EU-funded projects, including Erasmus+, ESF, and Horizon Europe collaborations. Its work strengthens inclusive education, promotes green and digital skills, and fosters resilient communities throughout Europe.

The organisation leads and participates in a range of EU projects — from empowering migrant women through entrepreneurial fashion education and supporting sustainability in sport, to boosting circular economy skills for multicultural youth and enhancing women’s participation in green technology sectors.
