Portuguese Autism & Disability NGO Seeking Partnership for Strand I
President at PEGADAS DO CORAÇÃO - ASSOCIAÇÃO
Funchal, Portugal
About
PEGADAS DO CORAÇÃO - ASSOCIAÇÃO is a Portuguese non-profit organisation based in Madeira, an EU outermost region, supporting children and young people with autism and other disabilities and their families.
We are seeking to join a transnational consortium as a partner under Strand I – Strengthening the European Child Guarantee national governance systems.
Our organisation can contribute direct experience of working with children, young people and families, particularly in the areas of disability and autism, social and educational inclusion, equal opportunities, family support, community participation, autonomy and transition towards adulthood.
We are especially interested in projects that develop and test practical, inclusive approaches to improve access to services and opportunities for vulnerable children and young people, including those with disabilities.
As a partner, we are interested in contributing to the design and implementation of pilot activities in Madeira, engaging children, young people and families, sharing practical experience from an EU outermost region, and participating in the exchange and dissemination of good practices.
We would be pleased to connect with public authorities, Child Guarantee stakeholders, NGOs, social service providers, educational organisations, research institutions and other partners currently building a Strand I consortium.
We are open to discussing how PEGADAS DO CORAÇÃO can contribute to an existing project concept and consortium.
