Researcher in cardiovascular epidemiology, vascular ageing & lifestyle medicine, seeking collaborations for innovative health projects in Europe.
Dr Yiota Veloudi is a Post-doctoral Fellow at biobank.cy, University of Cyprus, with a research focus on cardiovascular epidemiology, central haemodynamics, and vascular ageing. She holds a PhD from the Menzies Institute for Medical Research, Australia, and advanced qualifications in physical activity, exercise physiology, and strategic sports management. Dr Veloudi has extensive experience in the coordination of cardiovascular research studies, particularly in the measurement of central haemodynamics, macro-vascular stiffness using state-of-the-art technology, and micro-vascular health via retinal imaging. Her work also examines lifestyle determinants - including physical activity, diet, and other behavioural factors - and their impact on vascular structure and function. She currently leads the LifeEVA project, a multifactorial assessment of vascular ageing in young adults with overweight or obesity, and oversees the BETTER4U clinical trials in Cyprus, with a strong interest in the interplay between arterial health and metabolic risk.
