I work at the Department of Electronic Engineering of the Hellenic Mediterranean University and co-founded the Argument Theory start-up for explainable AI apps.
Nikolaos Spanoudakis is Assistant Professor at the Department of Electronic Engineering of the Hellenic Mediterranean University. His main research interests are in Engineering Intelligent Systems, Multi-agent Systems and Applications of Computational Argumentation in application domains such as health, medical data access, insurance, ambient assisted living, investment portfolios, the smart grid. He has experience as lecturer in pre- and post-graduate level. He has published 17 journal papers and more than 50 papers in conference/workshop proceedings with reviewers. He has experience in research and development projects. He has participated in more than 15 community funded projects with the roles of developer, technical manager, and project manager. He has also participated in industry funded projects, in two of them as principal investigator and in another as a consultant.
Nikolaos is also co-founder of the Argument Theory start-up company in Paris/France. Argument Theory offers rAIson, a no-code symbolic AI platform that democratizes the design and deployment of explainable and trustable AI applications.
