Glosten is a 65 year old naval architecture and marine engineering design consultancy located in the US and EU with a focus on bespoke projects for a wide range of mission-optimized vessels and floating structures. Ferries, marine construction vessels, special purpose workboats and barges, research vessels, tugs, and offshore renewable energy structures are very much in our core practice. Our designs for alternate fuels mature with each new project as owners investigate the feasibility and trade-offs for the new selection of fuels. Within the past few years we've designed an LNG conversion for a Ro-Ro, a hydrogen hybrid research vessel, an all-electric car ferry, and several other LNG, hydrogen, ammonia, nuclear, and methanol concepts. We also support the marine construction sector with vessel project modifications, conventional life extensions, and upgrades to structure and systems.
