Manufacturing Day 2026
Infineon Startup Challenge 2026: Humanoid Robots
The Infineon Startup Challenge 2026 is now open for applications, focusing on Aspects of Humanoid Robotics.
Startups which are engaged in the simulation of robotic systems or electronic development for robots are invited to apply.
Key areas of interest include:
-
Virtual skin and hand technology
-
Environmental sensing using camera systems, radar, microphones, and similar technologies
-
Feedback mechanisms with laser beam scanners
-
Novel motor control technology for robot movement
Applications are open until 27 May 2026. 24 innovative startups will be pre-selected to pitch their ideas in public at the Silicon Saxony Days in Dresden on 17 June 2026. From these, 12 startups will be chosen to participate in the challenge.
These startups will receive technical support by Infineon, Würth Elektronik and Rutronik and benefit from a summer school that includes business coaching and both online and onsite pitch training from our ecosystem partners. This preparation will culminate in a Demo Day at the EBSCON in Graz on 6 October 2026, where startups will have the chance to pitch in front of investors and partners from the electronic industry and startup ecosystem.
Andreas Mühlberger from Infineon Technologies Austria will present the Infineon Startup Challenge 2026 at Manufacturing Day. Make sure to sign up for the Session "Pitching - Startups & Corporates" and get all first-hand information from the challenge owner.
