Green Metrics – Smart Platform for Urban Green Space and Ecosystem Management

Green Metrics is a cloud-based platform that helps municipalities and environmental departments manage and monitor urban green spaces and ecosystem services through data-driven tools.

It integrates GIS mapping, biodiversity indicators, vegetation health analytics, and maintenance tracking to provide a clear picture of the ecological performance of parks, gardens, and natural areas.

By combining remote sensing data, IoT sensors, and field reports, Green Metrics supports evidence-based planning, identifies areas with low canopy coverage, and promotes actions to improve climate resilience and urban biodiversity.

Developed within Zoometrics’ modular ecosystem, it complements Meow Metrics (urban fauna), Census Metrics (domestic animals), and Wild Metrics (wildlife), offering a comprehensive framework for smart and sustainable city management.

We are seeking partners in urban ecology, smart city technologies, and EU-funded R&D to expand integrations and deploy pilot projects focused on green infrastructure and ecosystem monitoring.
