Bio-pigment for screenprinting

Textile Engineer

Buenos Aires, Argentina

About

A high-performance brown pigment produced by extremophilic bacteria, developed through a natural fermentation process. Designed as a bio-based, non-toxic alternative to petrochemical colorants, it delivers excellent stability, rich tone, and full compatibility with textile screen-printing and dyeing applications — already validated on multiple fabric types.

The pigment is ready for industrial scale-up through an outsourced production model, enabling on-shoring strategy to reduce logistics, carbon footprint, and lead times. Available in liquid or paste formulations, it can also be adapted for other material applications, including biodegradable and paper-based packaging.

By merging biotechnology with industrial processes, this pigment embodies a scalable path toward cleaner, circular, and locally produced color solutions.
