LUXEXPO - THE BOX

Registration open until 6 May 2026

Welcome to the B2B Matchmaking sessions of Luxembourg Space Resources Week 2026

Since its inauguration in 2018, Space Resources Week has become the event of reference for the space resources community.

Hosted annually in Luxembourg, Space Resources Week is organised by the European Space Resources Innovation Centre (ESRIC), in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA), the Luxembourg Space Agency (LSA) and the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST).

The event brings together space agencies, industry leaders, researchers and early-stage ventures. It is, by design, multidisciplinary, addressing the scientific, technological, economic, legal and regulatory dimensions of space resources.

We share a common ambition: to advance the sustainable and responsible use of space resources for our future in space and on Earth.

In this fifth-anniversary edition, celebrating five years of ESRIC, we take the opportunity to reflect on what has been achieved so far, how far the community has come, and what we aim to accomplish in the years ahead.

Looking forward, we need to map resources, plan future architectures for and with space resources, and develop roadmaps for translating ground-based research into space-ready technologies.

What to expect?

  • A premier gathering of the space resources community — Connect with space agencies, industry leaders, researchers and early-stage ventures from around the world at LuxExpo, The Box, from 4 to 7 May 2026

  • Multidisciplinary insights — Explore the scientific, technological, economic, legal and regulatory dimensions of space resource utilisation through expert-led sessions and discussions

  • Cutting-edge topics — Discover the latest developments in finding and extracting resources on the Moon, Mars and asteroids, including prospecting, excavation, in-space refuelling and supporting technologies

  • A focus on future architectures — Learn about roadmaps for translating ground-based research into space-ready technologies and planning resource utilisation strategies for sustainable space exploration

  • Hands-on professional training — Join a 2-day intensive course to gain a comprehensive overview of the field and work in teams to design your own space resource utilisation plan
