The Institute of Plastics and Circular Economy (IKK) at Leibniz University Hannover (LUH) is a leading research partner for sustainable plastics and circular economy solutions.

Our expertise spans intelligent mechanical recycling, bioplastics, sustainability assessment, marine biodegradability, advanced inline and offline polymer-chemical analytics, and standardization.

By combining state-of-the-art technical infrastructure with interdisciplinary research, we support industry and research partners in developing innovative, resource-efficient, and application-oriented solutions for the circular plastics economy at different TRL up to 8.
