About

I offer expertise in advanced electrocatalysis, functional materials and electrochemical energy conversion, spanning catalyst and electrode design, materials synthesis and characterisation, electrochemical testing, reaction mechanism studies, and activity–stability optimisation.

My research experience covers a broad range of catalytic materials and electrochemical systems, including hydrogen evolution and oxygen evolution, water electrolysis, biomass electro-oxidation and paired electrolysis, as well as sustainable energy and resource-conversion applications.

I can contribute to collaborative projects through:

  • design and development of advanced electrocatalysts and functional materials;

  • electrochemical performance and durability evaluation;

  • materials and interfacial characterisation;

  • mechanistic understanding of catalytic reactions;

  • electrode and device-level optimisation;

  • experimental validation of computational or AI-assisted materials discovery;

  • development of sustainable electrochemical processes for hydrogen and value-added chemical production.

I am particularly interested in Horizon Europe collaborations involving advanced materials, hydrogen technologies, decarbonisation, sustainable chemical processes, critical-material reduction and data-driven materials discovery.
