Serhat Taşdemir

Mr. Tasdemir brings to the position a wealth of experience at the senior level, in the development policy at the national and regional levels interacting with local governments, the private sector and civil society. Mr. Tasdemir began her career in the private sector as an Technical Development Executive in Tesco Sourcing Ltd. Company from 2006 to 2011. Mr. Tasdemir is currently senior expert working in Ahiler Developmnt Agency. He also served formerly as Investment Support Office Coordinator for two for the period 2012 to 2014. Through this position, he has extensive knowledge about international trade and economics, coupled with broad experience in trade and development matters in the public and private sectors, as well as in management at multilateral organizations. He has experience in governmental processes,regional development, entrepreneurship, rural development, representation, communication and mobilizing actions. He also possesses a wealth of knowledge in relations with civil society, private sectors, NGOs and the like, notably as the responsible member for the organization of relations between the Ahiler Development Agency and civil society. Mr. Tasdemir holds a Masters of Degree in International Business Administration and pHd Degree in Business Administration. Mr. Tasdemir holds an undergraduate degree in Textile Engineering from Istanbul Technical University and graduate degree in International Relations from Anadolu University. Mr. Tasdemir has participated in many international and national conferences on regional development, international trade, development plans, entrepreneurship, foreign trade and written a number of articles on rural development issues. His principal areas of interest are regional integration, agriculture, trade, regional development, SMEs and dispute settlement.
