FOS S.p.A. is an Italian for-profit company with over 20 years of experience in ICT, systems integration and applied R&D. Our AgriTech division focuses on the development of digital solutions for precision agriculture, data-driven sustainability and intelligent resource management.

We aim to contribute to Horizon Europe Cluster 6 projects with:

IoT and sensor networks for real-time monitoring of soil, water and plant health

AI and machine learning for decision support in sustainable agriculture

Digital platforms for traceability and circular economy value chains (e.g. , food waste reuse)

Edge/cloud computing infrastructures for smart agriculture and rural connectivity

Expertise in remote monitoring, data fusion and system interoperability

FOS commercialises Microcosmo, a patented intelligent field simulator. Microcosmo is a high-precision environmental simulation system designed to replicate natural plant growth conditions in an indoor environment. Its dual chamber structure - epigea (above ground) and ipogea (below ground) - allows independent control of temperature, humidity, light and other variables, effectively simulating real ecosystems.
