Building a complete, functional audiovisual database

For some time now, we’ve encountered the same limitation: current review and collaboration tools (like Frame.io) are great for sharing and commenting, but they don’t natively solve a need we face daily in production and postproduction of cataloguing video clips (with audio) using XMP metadata and specific categories within a single platform. Having that information available as a searchable, scalable database.

 For this reason, we are looking for collaborators to build a complete, functional audiovisual database for internal use, where the entire cataloguing process happens in one environment and the information travels together with the video. Therefore, we’re launching this challenge to anyone developing DAM/MAM platforms (Digital Asset Management / Media Asset Management), video collaboration tools or cloud-based postproduction software. We’re interested in a solution that integrates review, XMP metadata, and advanced classification into a single product designed for real audiovisual teams, not just for archiving.
