EPFL Investor Day 2026 brings together top investors and the most ambitious startups from Western Switzerland’s fast‑moving innovation ecosystem.

On Wednesday 25 November 2026, the campus will come alive with startup pitches, curated 1:1 meetings, and high‑value networking with founders, VCs, corporate investors, and tech leaders. If you’re looking to discover breakthrough ventures or connect with the people shaping tomorrow’s industries, this is the place to be.

This edition is powered by the support of UBS, Swisscom Ventures, and the Canton of Vaud, united in accelerating deep‑tech innovation and strategic investment across the region.

About EPFL Investor Day

EPFL Investor Day brings together investors and entrepreneurs for a full day of targeted networking, investment exploration, and insights into emerging deeptech trends.

Pitch Sessions

The 2026 edition will feature 45 selected startups pitching their innovations and funding ambitions, from pre-seed to Series A and beyond, across four key sectors: Health & Life Sciences, Engineering, Energy & Sustainable Industry, and AI & ICT.
Following each session, investors and founders can continue their conversations in a dedicated networking area next to the stage.

The popular Startups in Creation segment also returns at the end of the day, offering a glimpse into promising early-stage projects emerging from EPFL’s research ecosystem.

One‑on‑One Meetings

Curated 1:1 meetings remain at the heart of EPFL Investor Day. Through focused 15-minute conversations, investors and founders can explore potential synergies, investment opportunities, and next steps.

Meeting requests will open on the event platform on Monday, 16 November 2026 (7 AM). Participants registered for the morning session will be notified by email when booking opens.

Lab Discovery Tour

The Lab Discovery Tours offer investors exclusive access to EPFL labs at the forefront of scientific research and technological innovation:

Plenary and Keynote

The 2026 plenary session will open with an inspiring keynote by a visionary international leader known for pushing boundaries and tackling global challenges through innovation. Two panel discussions will follow, bringing together leading entrepreneurs and investors to explore key challenges for Swiss deep tech:

The global AI race: How can Swiss startups position themselves to compete and succeed?
Scaling globally, deciding locally: How can Swiss deep tech startups attract global capital and access international markets while retaining local decision-making?

The Startup Village brings together 30 selected startups showcasing their innovative products, prototypes, and technologies.
