About
I am an Analytical Chemist specializing in Electroanalytical Chemistry and electroanalysis. My research is focused on the design and development of electrochemical sensors, biosensors, and portable analytical devices for environmental and biomedical applications. My work involves the use of nanostructured materials such as graphene-based materials, metal nanoparticles, conductive polymers, and molecularly imprinted polymers to achieve selective and sensitive detection of chemical species. I apply electrochemical techniques including voltammetry and amperometry, often coupled with chromatographic and spectroscopic methods, for quantitative analysis and validation. Current research interests include monitoring environmental contaminants (e.g., pesticides and organic pollutants), detection of biomarkers, and the development of low-cost, field-deployable and microfluidic sensing systems. I welcome collaboration with researchers interested in analytical chemistry, sensor development, and interdisciplinary projects.
