About

I am a Chemist with 15 years of professional experience at Ankara Food Control Laboratory, a public authority laboratory responsible for official food control activities.

I have specialised expertise in quality and purity analysis of fats and oils, including physicochemical testing, regulatory compliance assessment, and analytical evaluation within the framework of official control systems. My work is carried out in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory environment, with active involvement in method validation, verification, quality assurance, and performance monitoring.

My professional experience includes:

• Food safety analysis under official control systems
• Quality and purity analysis of edible fats and oils
• Implementation and continuous improvement of ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory systems
• Method validation and analytical performance evaluation
• Regulatory-based reporting and compliance assessment
• Supporting risk-based food control strategies through laboratory data

In addition to my professional role, I am currently studying Animal Science (Zootechnics) at Ankara University, further strengthening my interdisciplinary perspective on food production systems, feed–food chain relationships, and sustainable agriculture.

Through MSCA Staff Exchanges, I am highly motivated to contribute to knowledge transfer, laboratory capacity building, harmonisation of analytical methods, and collaborative research addressing emerging challenges in food safety and sustainable food systems. I bring strong public laboratory experience, regulatory insight, and a practical analytical background to international research consortia.
