ORTHO-MOBILITY+: Strengthening Cross-Border Orthopedic Care through Digital Pathways and Staff Exchange

Growing cross-border patient mobility in orthopedic surgery requires harmonized clinical pathways, digital integration, and sustainable care models. However, differences in perioperative management, rehabilitation standards, and patient safety frameworks create fragmentation across institutions.

This project aims to establish a structured staff exchange network between public orthopedic hospitals, academic institutions, and digital health partners to:

• Co-develop a Digital Orthopedic Care Pathway Model

• Enhance post-operative tele-rehabilitation capacity

• Improve patient safety and infection control protocols

• Integrate AI-supported risk assessment tools

• Develop a sustainable operating room management framework
