Expertise in Federated Learning, Deepfake technology, IoT/IoMT Security & AI-based Intrusion Detection Systems

I am a Professor of Computer Engineering with extensive experience in AI-driven cybersecurity, federated learning, and IoT/IoMT security. I lead the Federated Learning & IoT Security subgroup within the COST Action CA22104 (BEING-WISE) and have coordinated multiple national and international research projects. My expertise includes anomaly-based intrusion detection systems, security of federated learning, multimedia forensics (audio/video deepfake detection), secret sharing, steganography, and watermarking. I am open to collaborations in Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, EIT Deep Tech Talent, and related research and innovation initiatives.
