Ergan Mountain Ski Resort is a candidate to become the new ski resort of Turkey with a new technology chairlift system with a capacity of carrying 2,700 people per hour and a cable car system with a capacity of carrying 750 people per hour. There are piste options of up to 50,000 meters in different difficulty levels for a skier to descend from the resort peak. Ergan Mountain, located at the foot of the Munzur Mountain Range, which is 3,278m high in the south of Erzincan, is becoming an important center in winter tourism with a ski slope of about 50,000 m long, at a height of 3,278m.
