Mechanical engineer, registered with the Order of Engineers of the Province of Ravenna and the Energy Certifiers Register of the Emilia-Romagna Region. Expert in EU and national legislation concerning material science with a focus on innovative construction materials (qualification, certification, and acceptance), energy efficiency in buildings, thermo-hygrometric, thermophysical properties and heat exchange issues, and advanced solutions for the reinforcement and renovation of buildings and infrastructures. Project manager for numerous regional, national, and European research projects, both in a coordinating role and as a technical partner. Lecturer in advanced training courses on innovative materials and solutions for energy-efficient and sustainable buildings, as well as qualification and certification processes. Author of publications in national and international journals in the fields of metrology, advanced materials (building/energy sectors), and building energy efficiency.
