Ilario Truppa is a senior e-learning consultant and Chief Technology Officer at OC Group – Open Consulting SB Srl, an Italian Benefit Corporation specialized in secure, sovereign digital learning ecosystems, instructional design, and communication strategies for innovation-driven organisations.
He has over a decade of experience managing complex digital training projects, from multimedia content production to the architecture of skills management platforms for technical, institutional, and international environments.
As CTO, he currently leads OC Group’s contribution to the Horizon Europe project DIAMETER (GA 101177422, Cluster 4 – Twin Transition), where he coordinates the development of an interactive academy for workforce upskilling in circular manufacturing. He is also in charge of the modernisation of BELADL, the national Learning Management System of the Belgian Ministry of Defence, supporting over 23,000 users with a secure and scalable infrastructure based on the ILIAS open-source LMS.

He holds a technical diploma in computer science, multiple certifications in cybersecurity, AI, and GDPR, and recently completed the NCP Virtual Campus course on Horizon Europe fundamentals. He also teaches instructional design and multimedia content development in EU-funded vocational education projects (FSE+ 2021–2027) in Italy.
Ilario is available for contribution to Horizon Europe projects in WP leadership roles for Training, Communication, Dissemination, and AI-supported learning innovation.
