At BioTwin, we believe the construction industry can do better—better for the planet, better for builders, and better for future generations. That’s why we’ve developed BioStuds, an innovative hemp-based alternative to steel wall studs, designed to cut carbon emissions while delivering strength and reliability.
Our Story
Co-founders Kit Chong and Matt Elton came together with a shared vision: to rethink the materials we build with. Seeing the environmental impact of traditional steel and timber, they set out to develop a truly sustainable solution—one that reduces embodied carbon, meets modern building regulations, and supports a circular economy.
What started as an idea quickly evolved into a groundbreaking product. With extensive R&D, strategic partnerships, and rigorous testing, BioTwin is proving that sustainable construction isn’t just the future—it’s happening now.
