Donut Wien
About
Donut Wien is working to support the transition towards a regenerative, distributive economy to enable societies to thrive within planetary boundaries in the 21st century. We’d like to pioneer ways to put the ideas of Doughnut Economics (Kate Raworth, 2017) into actionable practice in the City of Vienna through concrete projects (establishing a “Doughnut Portrait”), collaborative workshops and education initiatives.
The non-profit organisation is formally launching on June 6th 2025 with a fresh logo, female founder team of four and a small group of members. Please reach out to Marina Haydn if you are interested in hearing more about our work.
(Donut Wien is the formal German spelling of Doughnut Vienna necessary to found a “Verein” / non-profit in Austria.)
