PVE Sonnwendviertel

The PVE Sonnwendviertel, located in Vienna’s 10th district, addresses a critical gap in primary care, as the area faces high demand for services coupled with a low density of general practitioners. Since its opening in October 2021, the center has experienced steady growth, currently serving approximately 3,500 patients per quarter. The PVE Sonnwendviertel is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care while ensuring high levels of job satisfaction among its staff. A significant focus of its work lies in addressing psychosocial issues, particularly in the areas of addiction and substitution therapy, as well as providing care for patients with chronic conditions and multimorbidity. 

A central challenge for the PVE Sonnwendviertel is maintaining high treatment quality while expanding capacity and strengthening continuity of care, which is especially crucial in psychosocial support and chronic disease management.
