Remondo's Partial Aperture Imagery System (PAIS)

Remondo’s PAIS sensor is a compact optical payload that replaces a conventional large telescope with distributed partial apertures arranged around a virtual full aperture. A coded phase-mask modulator reshapes the incoming light field, while proprietary reconstruction algorithms convert the collected signal into high-resolution imagery. This enables large-aperture-class performance with reduced mass, volume, and cost, supporting deployment on smaller, bus-agnostic satellite platforms.
