ATLAS Data: High-Resolution Space Debris Tracking Dataset
Sales and Business Strategy Lead at Project-S

About
ATLAS Data is Project-S’s proprietary space-based radar data product, generated through the ATLAS radar payload line. It provides high-resolution detection, tracking, and characterization of orbital debris, including objects down to one centimeter, enabling satellite operators and space-traffic-management partners to strengthen Space Situational Awareness, conjunction analysis, and collision-avoidance workflows.
Unlike passive or limited ground-based observation sources, radar data can actively characterize orbital objects by capturing key parameters such as relative position, relative velocity, trajectory behavior, object motion, and radar signature. These measurements help distinguish debris objects, assess their movement patterns, improve orbit determination, and strengthen confidence in conjunction-risk predictions.
ATLAS Data can be integrated into downstream, collision maneuver, debris data feeds, risk quantification, orbital assessment and other third-party SSA/STM systems. By combining one-centimeter debris detection capability with radar-based object characterization, ATLAS Data gives operators, insurers, defence users, and institutional partners a more precise view of the orbital environment, providing risk modelling, earlier warning, and enabling safer/sustainable satellite operations.
