LK Mobility is developing LK TRAIN - H2, An advanced modular physical training platform for practical Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle diagnostics and maintenance
Gerente at LK Mobility
Spain
About
The platform is designed to reproduce the main electrical, electronic and diagnostic architecture of an FCEV at safe training voltages. It will include programmable fuel-cell behaviour, DC/DC conversion, traction battery and BMS, sensors, CAN communications, diagnostic functions and accessible electrical measurement points.
The main differentiating feature of LK TRAIN - H2 is its focus on automotive troubleshooting. Instructors will be able to introduce predefined faults affecting the fuel-cell system, air and thermal management, battery, power electronics, sensors and communications. Students will then identify the root cause using live data, DTCs and electrical measurements.
The platform will also reproduce different fuel-cell and battery health conditions, allowing training in degradation, performance loss and State of Health assessment.
LK TRAIN - H2 is conceived for vocational training centres, universities, technical centres and automotive training organisations. Normal training operation will not require compressed hydrogen or access to proprietary OEM systems, reducing infrastructure requirements and making practical FCEV training possible in regions where hydrogen refuelling infrastructure is still limited.
LK Mobility is looking for cooperation with hydrogen technology specialists, FCEV experts, vocational training organisations, universities and technical centres for technical validation, pilot testing, training-content review and future market deployment.
