H2SENTINEL: Cyber-Resilient Digital Control for Hydrogen Mobility Infrastructure

COO at Decent Cybersecurity s.r.o.

Slovakia

About

H2SENTINEL is a cyber-resilient digital control and operational assurance solution for hydrogen mobility infrastructure.

Hydrogen distribution and refuelling increasingly depend on connected sensors, controllers, operational technology, supervisory systems and external digital services. These interfaces create dependencies that can affect safety, availability and reliability when telemetry is corrupted, commands are manipulated, communications fail or systems behave abnormally.

H2SENTINEL addresses this challenge through secure telemetry ingestion, device authentication, control-command validation, data integrity monitoring, operational anomaly detection and traceable records of system actions.

Decent Cybersecurity will adapt its existing TRL 6 cybersecurity, integration and digital-control technology to hydrogen-specific environments. The solution will be validated against representative hydrogen distribution and refuelling scenarios, including manipulated telemetry, unauthorised commands, communication degradation, interface failures and abnormal operating conditions.

The project targets progression from TRL 6 to TRL 8 and will deliver a pre-commercial digital assurance layer that can integrate with existing hydrogen infrastructure without requiring replacement of the underlying operational technology.

Decent Cybersecurity is interested in exchanging technical requirements, operational scenarios and validation experience with hydrogen infrastructure operators, refuelling-station providers, technology developers and regional hydrogen ecosystems. H2SENTINEL will be developed by Decent Cybersecurity as the sole SME applicant to the IH-MIE Open Call.
