About me

Research Infrastructure Manager in the framework of the EU-funded project SUS-MIRRI.IT "Strengthening the MIRRI Italian Research Infrastructure for Sustainable Bioscience and Bioeconomy" coordinated by the University of Turin (Italy). The project is focused on the implementation of the Italian network of microbial Culture Collections. Before this enrolment and after my PhD in Biology and Biotechnology of Fungi, I spent 13 years as scientist between Italy, Switzerland, and Germany dealing with virulence proteins of plant pathogens and molecular plant-pathogen interactions. In 2020 I moved to industry in Tampere (Finland) to provide technical support and agronomical advice for greenhouse production in vertical farming. My interests are in science coordination and management of scientific projects in the fields of microbiology, biotechnology and biochemistry.
