About me

I graduated in Biotechnology at the University of Turin and then I continued with a Research Master in Fungal biology in Utrecht University (NL). During and after my Master I had the opportunity to focus on fungal biotechnology and to get passionate about fermentation processes and bioremediation. Currently, I am a Research Technician at the Mycotheca Universitatis Taurinensis (MUT), the fungal collection of the University of Turin. As a microbial collection our aim is to preserve biodiversity, but it is also to establish innovative solutions and investigate products of biotechnological interest, in the scope of enhancing the bio-circular economy.
