plays a proactive role in the Danube-Kris-Mures-Tisza Euroregion (DKMT), promoting knowledge-based bioeconomy, generating new concepts and developing models for bioeconomic structures, to integrate within the circular economy and to create new supply chains using agricultural materials to produce not only food, but energy and wide variety of bio-based materials. About me

Starting in 1998 coordinates microbiology applied disciplines in the Faculty of Bioengineering and Animal Resources from Timisoara: Technology of biosynthetic products, Genetic engineering and Applied microbiology. Teodor Vintilă is conducting research projects (managed 10 projects up to date) in the field of industrial microbiology and biotechnology, biofuels, biorefinery. The funds allocated to these research grants are used for laboratory equipments, tools, reagents, culture media, strains of microorganisms that are available for the students in biotechnology for training for the profession of engineer in biotechnology. Expert in biogas technology, conducts research in the field of second generation biofuels. Project manager for a biogas plant 100kWe installed capacity in the university farm connected to the campus.
