Responsible AI & AI Governance | EU AI Act, Strategic Communication, Stakeholder Engagement & Societal Impact

I am an undergraduate researcher at Selçuk University, Türkiye, working at the intersection of responsible artificial intelligence, strategic communication, AI governance, digital transformation and societal impact.

I currently lead a TÜBİTAK-funded research project examining the European Union Artificial Intelligence Act (EU AI Act), AI risk perception and trust in artificial intelligence. My research interests extend to human-AI interaction, responsible innovation, stakeholder engagement, technology adoption and the societal implications of emerging technologies.

Alongside my university-based research, I have been accepted as a researcher at Vastiva, a Canada-based research organisation, where I contribute to research-oriented activities including literature review, evidence-based analysis, academic documentation and the development of research outputs.

My international academic development also includes acceptance into initiatives connected with Harvard Innovation Labs, where I have been developing my perspective on innovation, project development and the transformation of early-stage ideas into scalable and impact-oriented initiatives. I have additionally participated in learning and project-development experiences associated with the MIT ecosystem, particularly around emerging technologies, societal challenges, innovation and interdisciplinary problem-solving.

I am also developing my climate and sustainability expertise through En-ROADS, using systems thinking and climate-policy simulation to better understand the interaction between technology, policy, communication and behavioural change. Together with my participation in Cornell University-related academic development programmes, these experiences have strengthened my interdisciplinary approach across artificial intelligence, communication, sustainability and social impact.

For Horizon Europe collaborations, I can contribute particularly to responsible AI and AI governance research, strategic communication, communication and dissemination, stakeholder engagement, societal impact, public and user engagement, technology acceptance, research activities and impact-oriented project development.

I am especially interested in joining interdisciplinary Horizon Europe consortia involving Artificial Intelligence, Human-AI Collaboration, Responsible and Trustworthy AI, Digital Transformation, AI Governance, Green and Digital Transition, stakeholder participation and societal adoption of emerging technologies. I am open to collaboration with universities, research organisations, technology companies, public institutions and international consortia preparing proposals for upcoming Horizon Europe calls.
